As the Ghanaian based Nigerian Songwriter & Artist (YDC Official) releases his new Debut EP titled "Riches, Pain & Pleasure." According to YDC Official, these songs were recorded in May, 2020 during the lockdown COVID-19 period and wasn't set to be released due to marketing, publishing and some personal issues. Also, in a discussion with the Afro Hip Hop Kvng, he said.. "Due to current situations for an Indie Artist in the music industry as at now, It's kinda hard for Independent Artists like me to master their craft and believe in it, also in the aspect of pushing your sound to the World, I mean distribution, marketing, publishing and all that.."
Just as the Lyrics of the EP project implies, "Riches, Pain & Pleasure" EP was recorded due to life experiences, struggles, coming backs and a tragedious love story which he was in at that time.. It's clear with no doubt that YDC Official is peculiarly different and uniquely far from any drawn perspective you can imagine of a rising Hip Hop artist in Africa.
